Fantasy 7/1/2011-7/6/2011

These are the Fantasy ebooks books released on Kindle between 7/1/2011 and 7/6/2011. In addition to the books published during this time, I'm playing catch-up and picking up some books that are listed with an earlier release date, but were not published on that release date.

The book lists is divided into two portions, the books that are published by an agency publisher (which generally means they are of more interest) or which I personally found interesting, and those which are not.
The second list will contain some very interesting books on average, but will also have a much larger number of books to look through. For a more detailed discussion of this distinction see Agency Books

The Dragon Never SleepsGlen CookA REALLY great science fiction novel based. It is very pleasant to see it released.
An Empire Unacquanted with Defeat (Dread Empire)Glen CookThe Dread Empire are overshadowed by the Black Company books, but are quite worth reading.
A Fortress in Shadow: Chronicle of the Dread Empire (A Chronicle of the Dread Empire)Glen CookThe two prequels to the Dread Empire saga which chronicles the rise of a prophet in the desert.
The SwordbearerGlen CookAn older Cook book, still good but lesser.
Naked City: Tales of Urban FantasyEllen DatlowA collection of Urban Fantasy stories by some very good Urban Fantasy writers.
The Camelot PapersPeter DavidThe secret true story of Camelot told behind from the insiders.
Icefalcon's QuestBarbara HamblyA sequel to the Darwath novels, worth reading but overpriced at 14.99
The Snow Queen's ShadowJim C. HinesJim Hine's 'Charlies Angels meets fantasy princesses' series is very fun. This was a good novel, however don't read this one first. Read The Stepsister Scheme (PRINCESS NOVELS) first. This book depends on the earlier ones and should be read last.
Shark's Teeth (Marla Mason)T.A. PrattI like the Marla Manson stories.
Echoes (Essalieyan Chronicles)Michelle WestMichelle West is a very good fantasy writer, and this is a novel set in her Epic Fantasy of the Sun Sword.
