Scam Alert: Unsolicited computer support phone call
They told me I was horribly infected, and directed me to loginmein.com where they were going to 'fix it' for me for the nominal fee of $70-$150. I went with the scam for a while just to see where they were going, but certainly was not going to grant access to my computer to a scam artist just to see what they were going to do.
The interesting fact is that they pulled my phone number from somewhere and called me.
Apparently this scam is common in the UK, however I don't see a lot of links when I google for it in the US. They used to claim to be from Microsoft, however when I asked this fellow who they were, I couldn't understand what he said with his accent.
I knew instantly that no real company calls unsolicited like this, I just wanted to see the scam in action while it was verbal. When I saw what he was using to 'diagnose' the error, I knew that it was bogus. I can see how less technically savvy people might be taken in by this one. I bet their success rate is high.
As a general rule, NEVER GRANT ACCESS TO YOUR COMPUTER to anyone who calls or emails you. It can sometimes be OK if you contact a known support from a reputable site, but only if you dial the phone yourself.

Romance Harlequin Treasury 7/13/2011-7/19/2011
List of all Harlequin Treasury ebook releases
List of Romance Kindle ebooks between 7/13/2011 and 7/19/2011.
Last Friday Harlequin released over a thousand backlist ebooks as Harlequin Treasury books. This page has a list of the books that were released sorted by author. Finding those books on Amazon is painful, and even more so for Barnes & Noble from what I've been told.
These new books are at a good pricepoint as well. $3.99 & $4.99 seems to be the prices.
I have links directly to Amazon for the Kindle version, and if you are a nook user, hopefully the webpage will help you find titles you are interested in so that you can do a direct search on Barnes & Noble's website.

| Cerberus: A Wolf in the Fold (The Four Lord of the Diamond) | Jack L. Chalker | I like the 4 lords of the Diamond series, however releasing each at $8.00 is way to high. Sell the collection for $10 and it is a good price. |
| Passage at Arms | Glen Cook | Another good Glen Cook science fiction novel |
| The Forever War | Joe Haldeman | A true classic of science fiction for a very reasonable $4.95. A great buy. |
