| A Path to Coldness of Heart (Dread Empire) | Glen Cook | After 24 years a sequal to the Dread Empire. Don't start here, pick up A Shadow of All Night Falling, but I will be purchasing this. |
| The Bride Wore Black Leather | Simon R. Green | A fun popcorn series. I'll pick it up when the price drops to paperback prices. |
| The Wit and Wisdom of Discworld | Terry Pratchett | The Wit & Wisdom of Discworld should be a very long book. This looks worth purchasing. |
| Skirmish: The House War: Book Four | Michelle West | Michelle West House War series has been good, but recovering ground from earlier novels. This is the first novel since The Sun Sword to advance the timeline. I enjoyed it, but you need to be familiar with her entire output or you will be a little lost at the start (it takes place after an event in The Sun Sword that I had forgotten. |

| February Thaw | Tanya Huff | A collection of short stories by a skilled writer. |
| The Spriggan Mirror: A Legend of Ethshar | Lawrence Watt-Evans | A great Ethshar novel, the one that when serialized restarted the series. |
| Caught in Crystal: A Lyra Novel | Patricia C. Wrede | A two fold tale, one of the earliest stories where the adventurer actually has a family. |
| Daughter of Witches: A Lyra Novel | Patricia C. Wrede | A more traditional fantasy story from my mermory, it has been a decade since I read it. |
| The Harp of Imach Thyssel: A Lyra Novel | Patricia C. Wrede | Another Lyra novel, a different tone thanthe others. |
| The Raven Ring: A Lyra Novel | Patricia C. Wrede | A much more mature novel, the scale is lower, the writing better (it was already good). |
| Shadow Magic: A Lyra Novel | Patricia C. Wrede | The first Lyra novel by Patricia C. Wrede while she has improved in craft since this novel, it is still a good story. |

| Twenty Palaces, A Prequel | Harry Connolly | Harry Connolly's Twenty Palaces series is wonderful Urban Fantatsy. This is a self published prequel after the publisher dropped the series. If you haven't read the series I highly recommend you check it out. |
| When the Saints | Dave Duncan | I love Dave Duncan, he is a consistantly good writer. |
| Lord of the Fire Lands | Dave Duncan | A good book in his Blade's book. By no means start here however. |
| The Wild Ways | Tanya Huff | Tanya Huff is worth reading. This is a lightweight sequal to The Enchantment Emporium IIRC |
| Bones of the Past (Arhel) | Holly Lisle | Another I haven't read. The price is attractive. |
| Mind of the Magic (Arhel) | Holly Lisle | I haven't read this one, the price is attractive and I'll purchase it. |
| Fire in the Mist (Arhel) | Holly Lisle | I thought this was a good magic novel. |
| Broken Blade | Kelly McCullough | Kelly McCullough is a great fantasy writer. This was a very interesting novel that looks to start a very intruiging series. Recommended |
| The Alloy of Law: A Mistborn Novel | Brandon Sanderson | The Mistborn Trilogy from Brandon Sanderson was a good series, I'm REALLY looking forward to this 'steakpunk like' extension. |
| The Hobbit (Enhanced Edition) | J.R.R. Tolkien | One of the best stories ever written. This and its sequels are the driver of the vast majority of fantasy. |
